Kioomars Musayyebi (Santur) & Andreas Heuser<\/a> (Gitarre)<\/p>\n

Kioomars Musayyebi and Andreas Heuser, both members of the Ruhr-region world music big band Transorient Orchestra, meet musically halfway between Orient and Occident, their instruments entering into diverse dialogues with one another.<\/p>\n

They play traditional Oriental pieces in new arrangements, alongside original compositions that blend musical influences from East and West.<\/p>\n

Both have profound musical training and many years of experience in a wide range of musical settings. They are virtuoso instrumentalists and distinctive composers.<\/p>\n

Imaginatively exploiting the many tonal and rhythmic possibilities of their instruments, they let the sounds of the 72-string Persian santur, various guitars, and the violin merge into rich soundscapes: rhythmic, dynamic, lyrical, and meditative.<\/p>","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
